Wow, the memories this song brings. Let me paint this picture. It’s the mid 90′s. I’m at a off campus house party at U of Maryland. Most details are hazy because I was consuming large amounts of Hennessy and Hydro. I knew the kid who was DJ’ing because while record shopping we struck up a conversation. He asked me if I was a DJ. I told him I was and he said check him out at this party. I didn’t know anyone but I never been to a party at Maryland before. Long story short he rocked this song about 5 times straight and people were asking for more. Alot of fine ass girls at the party. I remember waking up the next evening trying to figure out what happened at the party. The song Down was playing in my head. When I went through my jeans I was wearing at the party I had 4 numbers of girls that I had booked (wow, does anyone remember those times before cell phones) The next week I saw this video and bought the CD and have been a fan of 311 ever since.
Jumper was, is and will always be fucken AWESOME!!! I don’t care if you’ve got tattoos from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head and think yourself the hardest, meanest, coldest individual to walk this planet. I don’t care if you listen to Death Metal 24 hours 7 days a week. If your ears possess a drop of musical taste then you’ll appreciate Third Eye Blind for making this musical classic. Lyrically, musically and visually they hit this one out of the park. If you find this song corny then I suggest that you climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and then jump off.
I never was the biggest Limp Bizkit fan. Even when “Nookie” dropped and everyone was going ape shit over this band. In the circle of friends that I was hanging with at the time it was frowned on to like Limp Bizkit. When I heard Re-Arranged I realized I needed to find new friends.
Xzibit did his thing with this song and video. I remember when this came out I could watch this repeatedly 100 times and still want to watch it 100 more times. This is pure dopeness. Enjoy
Brilliant rocking song that never received it’s respect. Unfortunately this unofficial video is better then the original version King Missile released. I don’t know if the shot of the guy attaching his detachable penis was needed. Regardless great song. Enjoy
Mic Geronimo was that lyrical dude representing Queens before Nas. Here are Two timeless cuts for your listening and viewing pleasure. Classic Hip Hop once more.
When the Main Source dropped this one it was an instant classic in my book. Enjoy quality music
